Hook is a 2 year old, 50 pound hound mix who is being cared for by his rescuers. He was found in need of vet care with a leg wound. Hook needed an amputation, but does terrific on only three legs. Hook is very sweet and does great with his foster canine siblings. He is doing well on leash and house training and has practically mastered them both! He would love to have a fenced in yard, but of course an only inside home suits him just fine too, he says a nice plush bed for him to lay on helps of course. Hook does great kids and is very calm and quiet, not a barker or yelper like some hounds. He is a touch timid when meeting new friends, but we cannot say we blame him after all he has been through.
