About Bella

Bella is a very sweet and affectionate girl, she is 50% AmStaff/50% Vizsla (litter DNA tested). She is great with our 11yr old daughter and our two cats. She becomes very passive with cats if they stand up to her once in a while. She does not get along with our other dog, her mother. That is why we are re-homing her. She needs to be in a house where she is the only dog, and with people that understand how to take new situations very slow with her. She has completed obedience training with flying colors and is trained on the invisible fence system, she she crate and house trained. She just wants to please her people. This truly breaks our heart. We have tried this for almost a year - mama and daughter just don't get along - two alpha females. In her first house we rescued her from, they kenneled her 20h a day and underfed her so she was treat motivated. She came to us with resource guarding issues and low social skills. We have worked very hard on both and she has come such a long way. She still shows anxiety with new people and new situations and needs to be worked into new situations slow. We currently have her in socialization classes 1-2x a week. She also air bites when excited, harmless but can intimidate some people. Bella is such a sweet, obedient, very snuggly, people person doggie; she is very healthy and has no health issues.
