About Apollo

Hi, my name is Apollo. I'm looking for a new home. My last family is gone. They let me get infested with ticks, and instead of giving me a pill to get those nasty bugs off of me they allowed them to suck up So much of my blood that I? became very anemic. I? got terrible bloody noses, so bad that I? could have bled to Death. I? was very very sick. And instead of taking me to see a vet they dumped me off at the pound to die by myself. All alone on a cold concrete floor. I? had 1000's of ticks on me. Nobody in their right mind would ever adopt me like that, but this lady at the shelter felt sorry for me and she called the rottweiler rescue group and asked them to come and meet me. Shelly from the rescue did come and she put me in her car, and she took me home and she gave me a pill and about 12 hours later all those bugs started to die, and they all marched off of me and started dying on the floor around me. I? was amazed when I? saw them all! I? felt so much better, but my skin was full of scabs and I was itchy. I? was bleeding from my nose really bad, so shelly took me into the emergency room. They gave her a bunch of medicine and wished her luck. They said I? might die. They seem to have forgotten that I? am a rottweiler and I? am strong and too stubborn to die! It took me a really long time to get better, but I? have finally been given a clean bill of health from my doctor! I'm bug-free and I'm very well behaved, potty trained, crate trained and I? LOVE to watch TV, especially commercials or movies with other animals in it! Nobody seems to know how old I? am but if I? counted correctly I'm between 3-5 years old. I'm super chill. Not a hyped up crazy boy at all. Would do well in an apartment or condo, or with an older couple too. If you want a dog who likes to go hiking, Then you probably don't want me. I would be happier staying home watching TV. I'm ready and waiting for you to make me your dog! Please say you will!
