Hershey was dumped at a rural, GA high kill shelter along with siblings, were an unplanned, unwanted litter. All the puppies were adopted but Hershey was later returned. His big crime was simply being a puppy, owners not committed to responsibilities of training. Poor Hershey sat in the shelter without any interest in adoption, alone in his kennel, confided and scared. And to make matters worse, with the upcoming holiday looming, his fate was uncertain. Sadly, the shelters euthanized right before holidays to reduce amount of workers needed. So, we sprung into action, rescued Hershey and now he's a Ruff Pup. Hershey's a smart, clever boy, training should be a breeze. Has good manners for a puppy, and a great car rider, didn't make a peep on the 2 hour drive from the shelter. Hershey's deliciously sweet and has a beautiful deep chocolate coat, could eat him right up !! Hershey is very friendly, good with people, kids, dogs and okay with cats, will be a great family boy.
