About Milly

MILLY - 2 YEAR OLD FEMALE - OUDTSHOORN You might recall that we worked with Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need, and took in Poppie, as she was originally called, when the 'helper' handed her in, after having been given her by the 'madam'. Her foster mom in Oudtshoorn has renamed her Milly. She is doing well, and will pick up weight with the right diet. She also has mange at the moment, which we are treating, so her hair should grow back soon. Little Milly has started to find her personality, and is enjoying playing outside, and running around the farm, trying to catch the birds flying over! Milly is also enjoying getting love and cuddles, and is very affectionate. She is particularly fond of her foster family's youngest son, and follows him everywhere. She has a real affinity for children! Milly is also good with other dogs. We have not specifically tested her with cats yet, but since she is a gentle soul, we believe that Milly would be fine with cats. We need to determine at some stage what our plans are with Milly. She is currently in Oudtshoorn, and is available for adoption anywhere in South Africa, where we can find the right home for her. If it is somewhere not too far away, her new owners will be able to drive to meet and collect her. If not, we will need to fly her to her new home.
