About Nixie

Nixie does NOT get along with other dogs. She would do best in a single dog home. That being said, she is an extremely sweet and loving dog to people. She loves kids and will tolerate little hands being all over her. She is not possessive of food and even shares her bowl with one of our cats. She does have some skin allergies and will need to receive medication and occasional ear cleanings to prevent ear infections as well as certain foods to prevent skin irritation (Pure Balance salmon and snow pea recipe from Wal-Mart does well for her). A large area to run with high fences would be best as she can and will jump given the opprotunity. It's my goal to ensure she finds a safe home with people who can provide her needs as I am no longer able to. She will come with a harness and leash, a sample of her food, her allergy medication, and ear cleaner as well as all paperwork. She is microchilped and has a rabies tag.
