About Honey

All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth! Nah, just kidding, I'm not that young or that old! I think I'm the perfect age at 8 years young. My name is Honey and I'm a petite 15 pound beagle mix. My favorite things are ear scratches and belly rubs! I even think I prefer those to food, although I really like my food! I am missing a couple of teeth but that's only because I wasn't taken good care of before I was rescued. I was also being eaten alive by fleas. They itched so bad that I scratched off half of my hair all over my backside. My hair is starting to grow back now! I really like other dogs, but I like them to be kind of lazy because I like to cuddle with them. Did I mention I'm a huge cuddler? I like to be carried around (it feels like I'm being cuddled all the time), but I like to walk too. I'm great on a leash. I'm house trained and although my foster family has a doggie door, I prefer not to use it unless I absolutely have to. I like for people to go outside with me. Don't worry, I'll let you know when I have to go out. I'm kennel trained, although I don't need to be. I'm not very big so I can't counter surf, as a matter of fact, I need to be lifted onto the couch or into bed. I like to sleep with my people but I don't have to, but I really, really like it! I like kids and cats, especially if they cuddle with me. I enjoy barking at the cat in my foster home when she won't play with me. She only does what she wants when she wants, not when I want and I don't understand that! I am healthy as a horse and just the perfect girl, what more could you want?
