About Jenny & Amber

Hello Everyone, my name is Jenny, I am the pretty black and tan lady, Amber is shy so we voted and decided it was best if I told you our story. We are not sure how we got so lucky to come to Shonio's Safe Haven, Inc but we sure are thankful everyday we have been here. You see we come from Cleveland TN, our human used us for breeding and they took our babies away every time we would have some. We lived in horrible conditions. I hear human say we came from a hoarding/breed situation but I just call it awful. Our bodies hurt so much we had fleas all over us and we had a very bad Yeast and Fungal infection from the environment we lived in. We never had a human touch us and we never have been outside in the grass to play. We had no toys nor did anyone loves us. Then we went into a kill shelter in TN and they said no one would want us we had no hair and our bodies where is such bad shape. Then a lady came in and said I know Suzie would take these girls and off we went. It was all scary but we finally landed in Vermont with Suzie through Shonio's Safe Have, Inc. While we have been here we have had medical treatment and no more itching, we are even growing hair, we have toys everywhere and we are aloud to play when ever we want. Suzie said it is time for us to find a family I am not sure what a family is and we love Suzie and all the fun we are having here but she said we would be happier with our own family, not sure how much more happiness we can take but we sure would like to try it. I will let Suzie tell you more about us and we can't wait to meet you family.. Hello Suzie here, These ladies were a mess when they came to me and I do have pictures to share with their family upon request. These ladies have shown such a will to live and they are willing to leave the past in the past. They have been treated for their yeast and fungal infection and still have daily treatments but they are on the mend and the hair is coming in nicely. Lady Jenny the black and tan lady is a charter she loves to take Lady Amber's toys and run around with them so Lady Amber has to chase her to get them back.. Jenny is lively she can jump a baby gate from a sitting position or scale it like a ninja in the night.. She is full of life. Lady Amber is truly a lady, well until Jenny runs off with her toys lol, but totally sweet as can be. They love to be with their human but are okay during the day to be alone as well. I would love nothing more to see them go together they have been through so much together I would love to see them stay as a family unit. I am willing to speak about splitting them up but it is my dream to see them stay together. I do believe they would be fine separated however the adjustment time in a new home make take longer. Its time for a family to take them to a new lever of love and to watch them blossom, is that you, if so contact our rescue and we would be happy to tell you all that we know about them.
