Diamond is a sweet and lovable, three-year-old, 50-pound, female brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier looking for a loving guardian. Diamond's tail is always happily wagging and she loves to hang out and be pet while she chews on her deer antlers. She is extremely friendly with people and gives plenty of kisses to people who will accept them. She even rolls on her back for belly rubs and she's been excellent with children. Sadly, Diamond spent the first part of her life locked in a porch where she was used for breeding. In December, the family that was breeding her made the decision to keep one of her puppies and gave her up to Chicago Animal Care and Control. Diamond is a long, lean and short low-rider of a terrier. She is good when you want to give her a bath. She is also great in the car and loves to go for walks. Diamond is crate-trained and working on perfecting her housebreaking. She is best with male dogs, but she, unfortunately, does not enjoy the company of cats. To meet and possibly adopt sweet Diamond, please contact Joanne at 630-231-6860 or Sue at [email protected] or 630-964-8535. Diamond is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Cry For Help Rescue. She is currently being kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois, and would love to get out of the kennel and into a loving home.
