About Yolanda

Yolanda is a very sweet and affectionate girl who loves to hang out with her humans, and to play nicely with other dogs both big and small. She especially loves playing outside and exploring, and going for walks. She is housebroken and is quickly learning about how to behave indoors (her foster home in Olympia, WA is the first time she's ever lived inside). We call her a German Shepherd mix, maybe she has a bit of Catahoula? Hard to say! She is approximately 5.5-6 months of age. She weighs approx. 45/50 pounds and she is not completely full grown yet. Yolanda is learning about car rides and the joys of getting dog treats from drive through espresso stands and pet stores. She is also discovering what cats are and demonstrating great progress with her fosters' cat. We recommend a family who has a dog savvy cat and/or knows how to continue her training to live harmoniously with a cat(s). Yolanda and her two sibling sisters were found abandoned, terrified, and very skinny by a Texas roadside and brought to God Dogs Rescue in San Antonio, TX where a few months of TLC gave them the chance for a new beginning. Her sisters have been adopted into great NW homes and now it's Yolanda's turn to find her forever home. Her adoption fee of $450 includes her spay, shots, microchipping, deworming, all medical to get her healthy and doing wonderful, health certificate seeing the vet again just prior to leaving TX and transportation to her foster home in Olympia, WA from SA, TX.
