SWEET LUCY Sweet Lucy went to school every day, like a good little girl, and was loved by all of the teachers. However, Lucy is a timid, young Beagle mix who went to school each day because she was slowly starving to death.... and the staff would feed her, give her treats and some attention each day. It broke their hearts that she appeared homeless so one of the teachers took her home so she would be cared for. Lucy has done well with her foster family but is still unsure of strangers. She was on her own so long she doesn't know what to expect from people. Will they be kind or will they yell, throw things and try to run her away? She can't be sure since the later was obviously what she cruelly, received most. Lucy is praying for a forever family that can shower her with lots of love & attention, showing her there is nothing to be afraid of anymore and to be committed to helping her grow and happily thrive.
