About Priscilla

Adoption Fee: $250
Boxer / Pit Bull
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet sweet Priscilla! This stunning girl is about 8-9 months old and is a Boxer/Pit mix who was discarded on the streets of Tijuana when her 'family' bred her parents and realized that she was deaf. She was useless to them as they wouldn't be able to sell and make money off of her due to her hearing loss. Clearly, Priscilla hasn't had it easy. Not only is she deaf and was thrown away like trash, but we also discovered she has a slight paw twitch (in one paw) when she is at rest. We have had our vets fully evaluate her/run tests and their best guess is that this was something she was born with as it has no affect on her life or well being. You wouldn't even notice it unless you're watching her at rest. She doesn't seem to notice it at all! Despite all of her hardships, Priscilla is the sweetest girl. She loves to cuddle and loves to play with other dogs. She barks at them (because she cant hear) but just wants to romp around and play with them all day long! She is also very petite (hard to tell in the pictures) and really enjoys curling up on your lap and taking a nap. She really enjoys feeling close to her humans. Due to her deafness, she should go to a home that either has experience with deaf dogs or has a willingness to learn how to live with a deaf dog. Priscilla is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and ready for her forever home, Her adoption fee is $250 and if you are interested, please fill out our online adoption application here: https://www.theanimalpad.org/adopt-today
