About Boscoe

Boscoe is a 12-year-old mix. He is in perfect heath and is a sweet, mellow guy. Everyone who meets him falls madly in love with him - he is mellow and spunky at the same time. Boscoe is located in Los Angeles CA. His temporary foster mom writes: 'Boscoe was such a sweet heart - I honestly don't know why someone would have given him up. His hearing was lacking sometimes but if I made a noise a a different tone/frequency he would answer the call. He sits and lays down and did his business outside. He walks really well on the leash but sometimes can pull, and loves to smell all the things. He slept a lot, and deeply. He was like Velcro or a shadow once he was up, going into every room with me even if it was only 3 feet away, he needs to be with his humans. I'd recommend having a spot for him in every room - He seemed a lot more relaxed when he knew where he could lay comfortably as long as I was in that room. If he wasn't sleeping he was wagging his tail, a lot. He played well with my neighbor's golden and played almost too hard with my other neighbor's 2 y.o. boxer. He definitely has a lot of energy left in him, but was extra sleepy and lazy the next day - I nearly had to drag him out of bed. He likes to play and run with other dogs but also tries to mount other dogs. He never jumped on my couch while I was home, but I'd find him passed out there when I would get home. I never heard him bark. Everyone who met him commented on how sweet and mellow he is. He was good at riding in the car.' We have not yet tried him with kids but, due to his age, recommend older, respectful children
