About Shelby

Shelby is a big goofball who loves to kiss and cuddle! If you are looking for a sweet energetic lady look no further. Shelby was an owner surrender, is about three years old, and looks like a pit mix. She is full of energy and loves everyone she meets! She LOVES squeaky toys, bike rides with her foster mom (no need to even pedal!), and playing outside. Shelby needs to go to a home with a fenced-in yard so she has a place to stretch her legs! Shelby does not always get along with other dogs so she should be the only dog in the home or go to a home with experienced dog owners who are willing to supervise interactions. Shelby loves kids but would be best in a home with older children due to her energy level. Shelby has no idea she isn't a lap dog and will want to follow you everywhere you go. She is fully housebroken, knows sit, stay and paw, and picks up on new commands quickly. She will be a perfect companion to the right owners and is just waiting on her new best friends!
