About Boulder

Boulder American Bulldog/Lab mix Male 3 years old 45 lbs. Hi there! My name is Boulder - pretty perfect for a Colorado pup, right? I cannot wait to find my forever family and start living life the way I've always dreamed about! First thing you should know is that I've been told I'm somewhat of a gentleman. I'm smart and I always try to mind my manners. I am still learning a bit about what those manner things ARE, but rest assured, my heart is in the right place. I do know a whole bunch of commands already (sit, stay, lay, shake, go to bed, move, etc.) and I'm always looking for ways to please my people. I'm a quick study, so maybe we can keep adding to the list! I wouldn't say I've got a ton of puppy energy, but I certainly don't mind some play time. One of my favorite things to do is chase after one of my squeaky toys and then keep the party going by tossing it in the air! I also love to go for walks and car rides. I am an excellent road dog. I'm still working on my leash manners, but my foster mom has a great harness that's been teaching me to slow down a little and enjoy my walks even more! You gotta stop to smell the roses after all. After all those fun activities, I think it's time to cuddle! I absolutely love to cuddle up with my foster family. I just love my people so much! I also love other dogs and even enjoy cuddling with friendly cats! Apparently I'm a little bigger than a Chihuahua so some smaller pups get a little intimidated by my size, but I promise I'm a big mush! I do best with dogs who are easy going and.or playful and don't bark/growl at me (I feel the need to stand up for myself in those situations!)
