About Max

This dog was a rescue from an ASPCA rescue animal event held in 2016. I'm looking for a new home for him. When I rescued him he was not house trained, he had heart worms, and he was food aggressive. I got his heart worms treated and he is now heart worm free, he is potty trained and his food aggression is MUCH better. I think he was at one point someones hunting dog but he is VERY scared of guns. I have three children and one other dog and he is good with all of them. He has a good temperament, not very good on a leash but when he has a harness on he is much better. My husband is deployed, I work, go to school and have three children and Max requires more energy expenditure than I am able to provide him. Hope this website can help me find him a good home.
