About Luna

Luna is fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County) and is looking for a breed-savvy foster or adopter. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! This beautiful girl is a 2-year-old border collie of just shy of 40 lbs. She loves to run and play, and is good with other dogs. She loves to be around people and craves attention! Luna is a very strong-willed young lady. She needs a large fenced yard, and an experienced border collie or herding dog handler. She definitely needs not only room to run and play, but a job to do daily, be it dog sports, herding, or otherwise. She will be starting obedience class soon. She is definitely a working dog more than a pet although she does love to snuggle and cuddle. At this time we will not be placing her in a home with children. Luna is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, crate-trained and housebroken. luna is fostered in the bradenton area
