About Spud

Spud is a very sweet, mild-mannered, lap-dog-wanna-be. He is approximately 6 years old and weighs in around 35lbs. Spud loves nothing more than to kiss and cuddle. He is easily motivated by treats and takes them gently from your hand. His tail wags with delight once taken outside with volunteers. Gentle and calm, Spud walks very nicely on a leash. Meeting a large male dog, Spud was eager to play. We think he would be great as an only dog getting all of the attention, or would pair well with a submissive dog. Unfortunately, Spud needs surgery on his knee (luxating patella), so is only available to rescues until he has his surgery and heals. Lincoln County Animal Services is willing to do the surgery, but he would need a long-term foster commitment
