Duke and Duchess were were rescued from the streets of Oklahoma. They were found near a very busy highway where they came close to being hit. It is obvious they have been together for all of their short lives. Duke is most likely Duchess's son. She nurtures him and tends to him like a mama dog would tend to her baby. Duke is about one-year-old and Duchess is two to three years old. They both are great with people, however, it takes Duke just a few days to form a bond and when he does he is very loving and very loyal. Duchess seems to immediately accept and love all new people who come into her life. They are great with dogs also. One of my own dogs apparently saw some vulnerability in Duke and attacked him. His wounds are healing and before long all of his hair will come back in but he has forgotten about it and still excepts other dogs happily. He is just a big puppy and wants to play. Both Duke and Duchess want nothing more than to just be near people who love them! They are both heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. They are fully vaccinated and Duchess is spayed and Duke is neutered. They love to go on walks and do very well on their leashes and they are housetrained. ***We prefer that Duke and Duchess be adopted together; discount for adopting as a bonded pair!
