About Avery

Avery is a 2-3 year old female harlequin Great Dane who was rescued from horrible living conditions at a puppy mill in Alabama. She was heartworm positive upon arrival and is currently undergoing treatment. As soon as she completes her treatment she will be ready for adoption! Avery can be picky about other dogs so a meet & greet with other pets is a must. She would probably do best as the only female dog in the household. She also needs a home with no small dogs or children. Avery can be bossy with other dogs at times, but she's just a girl who knows exactly what she wants! She's looking for a Great Dane experienced home with patience who is understanding of her past and who can show her the love she deserves!
