About Lucky

Lucky is a beautiful black Pitbull Terrier. At 5 years old he is a muscular 70 pounds of baby boy. He is a little fearful of men (our trainer can help with this) but he adores women and children. He is good with other dogs but as with a lot of Pitties, he is not fond of cats. Unfortunately, because his previous owner did not keep him up to date on flea and tick prevention, Lucky contracted Lyme Disease. This is a treatable disease but it will require monitoring and someone committed to learning and watching for symptoms that would indicate the need for antibiotics ASAP. Lucky's favorites include hugs and cuddling, chew toys and playing ball. Be prepared to share your bed with this big lover boy because that's exactly where he wants to be at night. He does have a little separation anxiety but adores going for car rides with you and behaves very well when doing so. Baths aren't a favorite thing but he is certainly tolerant of them. To adopt this beautiful big boy, you must agree to transition training with our trainer to insure a smooth adjustment for both Lucky and you. The adoption fee for Lucky is $350. He is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on all flea, tick and heartworm preventatives. This loveable boy wants so much to be a part of your family.
