Emma's story: Emma came to the rescue from Clay County Animal Control. She was a stray that had been found by a local resident who wanted to keep her, but the estimated costs of her veterinary needs was beyond the means of the resident, so Emma was turned over to Animal Control. Emma's temperament is great. She is a playful little puppy with a lot of energy that is crate trained and house broken. She is good with adults and children. She has done well with other dogs and cats. She is not food or toy aggressive/possessive and takes treats very gently. She walks fairly well on lead but has a tendency to pull. She knows the Sit command and her foster dad is working on teaching her more. This sweet girl is a foster-favorite and will make a wonderful dog for a loving family. NOTE: she can easily jump 4 foot fences. For information about EMMA please, contact David James at [email protected]
