About Sam

Adoption Fee: $100
German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Absolutely stunning boy with a consistent happy grin. He hasn't a clue that recently his life was on the line at Animal Control due to a huge influx of new dogs that would necessitate 'making room'. Sam is 2 years old. He is a German Shepherd, possibly a Panda GSD which has variations of white in the coat due to a gene mutation. This boy even looks good behind the gate of his kennel. Adoption fee $100. His energy level is extremely high and he requires a lot of exercise and running room. A securely in place now fenced yard is mandatory to adopt Sam. Arrival date Aug 28, 2017. Application can be submitted at the shelter or online at: . Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home appropriate for their needs and that will keep them safe. Each is loved and nurtured by our staff and volunteers during their stay with us and each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own family members. Adoption policies and application procedures are at the shelter website: under tab All Adoptable Animals. All approved adopters must accompany their new family member on the journey home. We do not ship nor transport. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4.
