Hi, my name is Rex, my close friends call me 'Sexy' Rexy. I am good looking so they are jealous of my youth and my handsome, chiseled features and lean 45 lb body. I have been kept on leash in the yard or on the back porch and rarely given a chance to meet many people and show off my good looks . . The trainers that evaluated me said I am very sweet and love people. I will get excited when I first meet you, and I jump a little, but I will calm right down. I LOVE food so training me should be easy as I am treat motivated. I know how to sit even though sometimes I try to fake you out to get a treat. I am not perfect but I am willing to learn if you are willing teach me. I do best with older children and I get a little nervous around other dogs but that is because I have never been given a chance to interact with them. I lack some skills when it comes to meeting other dogs because I get excited but in time I could learn to be around them. I really want to be in a home where I am loved, appreciated, and could show a family what a good dog I am. Could you be that family? I hope so. Please give me that chance so I can get off this porch and off this leash I am kept on most of the day . I much rather be safe and loved by you.
