My Story 12.5 year old Max is a total family guy. He is a tan Lab/Shepherd mix, approximately 65 lbs, who loves people of all ages. He is currently being fostered in a home with a cat and another dog. Max is curious about the cat, but never bothers it. He gets along great with the other dog. Max lived 12 years of his life as an inside dog until his owners gave him to their son, who kept Max tied up outside for about a year. Max's foster keeps him inside where he belongs. He is crated when they are not home and does great! Max is also house trained. Max doesn't hear well, so his foster uses hand signals and bribes him with treats. Max is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Max is heartworm positive but his fosters have started him on a slow kill treatment. Max loves to lay around and be petted. He also enjoys short strolls on a leash. He would love a low energy home of his own to live out the rest of his life. Can you open your heart and home to this senior guy? He will show his appreciation for the rest of his life. He is sure to bond completely and deeply with his caretakers, who will be his heroes. Max will surely be an affectionate and loyal companion. Max and his fosters are praying they can find him a great loving home. For more information, please contact Victoria at (919) 710-2738. ##170254##
