About Jersey

Jersey is about four years old and she arrived to us from Texas with 7 babies in tow. She was in a shelter and space had to be made for the Hurricane Harvey dogs and therefore she had to find a place to go or she and her babies would have been euthanized. She came to us. Unfortunately she was heartworm positive when she arrived to us and we hve treated her for heartworm and she is now negative. All of her babies got adopted. Unfortunately Jersey still sits in the shelter looking for someone who has the patience and love to work with her so she isn't afraid of you. She does awesome with the people she knows here at the shelter and is full of all kind of love - she will show that love to her very own family if someone will give her the chance she needs. She isn't a very big girl at only 35 lbs. She is shy and takes a while to warm up - so if you have some patience she will be your best friend in no time at all.
