About Chester

Chester is a handsome and agile two-year-old, 55-pound, blue heeler/terrier-mix with gorgeous markings looking for a loving guardian. Chester was originally rescued from Kentucky and made his way to Lucky Dog Rescue. He gives paw and is smart and responsive. He knows the commands sit and down and is very well-trained. Chester is a great dog for the right person who knows how to handle him. He does have guarding tendencies so he's best as the one and only dog in the home without small children in the house. Chester is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Lucky Dog Rescue. He is currently being kenneled in Union, Illinois and would love to get out of the kennel and into a loving home.
