Bernadine is a gorgeous snugly sweet, yet shy 11-month-old tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. Bernie was found stray in a Chicago backyard and brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control where she gave birth to her kittens. Lucky for the whole family, they were chosen by a foster family. She and her kittens grew up in a loving home with caring people and other cats. Her kittens have all been adopted, and now it's Bernadine's time to be cherished. She is a shy girl at first. But, once she feels safe and comfortable with a person she is fine, relaxed and playful. Since she's accustomed to other cats, we think she'd be happy to share a home with another cat '| perhaps a male. Bernadine is very healthy, virus-tested negative, spayed, micro-chipped, de-wormed and vaccinated. Her adoption fee of $95 benefits the rescued pets of FCACC. To meet and possibly adopt her, please download an application here: http://www.fcacc.org/adoptable-pets/apply-for-adoption/ and follow up by forwarding it to her adoption counselor [email protected] She is being fostered in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood.
