About Cali

Adoptable! Cali is a Border Collie estimated anywhere between 3-4 years old looking for an active pet/performance home. Cali had a rough start to life. She lived on a farm and whelped to litters before being surrendered with her two puppies. Upon coming into rescue Cali was tested HW positive. She has since been treated and has recovered fantastically. Her previous condition will not affect future her in anyway. She has now resumed full activity and is enjoying life with no restrictions. Cali is a high energy dog. She will require some type of physical and mental stimulation in her daily life. She does settle nicely in the house, but thrives on learning and experiencing new things. She is a confident and fearless girl and takes everything in stride. Cali is EXTREMELY food driven, but has not quite taken interest in toys. She is about 18' and 35 lbs. Cali seems very interested 'herding' wild geese and displays herding behaviors, but has not been tested on stock. She is great with dogs, children, and cats that do not run away.
