Hi! I'm Twinkle. I'm not abused, just neglected - have been mostly shut in a small bathroom alone with one window for almost two years now. I showed up at the back of a property with a small covered shed-like area where straw bales were stored (the straw was put in dog houses for the outdoor dogs to help keep them warm). Little did the people know that I was watching them when they went out to take care of and feed the dogs. I soon made myself known because I was just a kitten, and it was getting so much colder. I needed help and wanted more food than I could catch or find as winter came on. The people tried to make sure I had warmer, more sheltered spots under there and they added canned food to my dry food when it got below freezing. They were afraid I would die because I was so small, young, and on my own - but they kept trying to win my trust. Finally, I started looking forward to seeing the people, not just the food & fresh water, and I would come out a little and meow to greet them. On warmer days, I would come out fully visible in the back yard and play and play in the sun and even nap in the sunlight out in the open. In April, I was trapped and taken to a place where I was combo tested negative, neutered, fvrcp & rabies vaccinated, and left-ear-tipped. Now I have decided once I get to know you, I LOVE kind and gentle people attention! I want to find some people and an indoor-only home to call mine! Could it be you?
