June Bug is an 18 year old thoroughbred mare. She is registered and was previously a race horse when she was young. She is 16.2 hands tall. June Bug loves trail riding through the redwoods and running on the beach. She is very sweet and loves people. She has been pastured with geldings and mares before. She was very compatible with both. She does tend to be down the line in herd dominance. June did not have any dental care until I acquired her 3 years ago. She has had some teeth pulled. This does not affect her ability to use a bit when riding. She does require grass hay pellets and senior pellets soaked for her food. She is unable to chew hay. The cost of the senior food and pellets is the same as when I bought her orchard grass hay. She maintains her weight very well on this regiment. June Bug is a wonderful girl. Because of financial changes, I am looking for a happy home for her. If you are interested, please let know. I will be happy to give you more information and the number of her vet if you would like to know about her health care.
