Spang is high energy and high anxiety. While the fosters have worked with him on his separation anxiety, he still has bouts which include pacing, whining and extreme salivating. It is NOT recommended Spang be in a home with other small animals.. rabbits, cats, ferrets, birds, etc. Spang does well with other dogs. Food: Spang is allergic to chicken and grain. We have been feeding him Fromm brand grain free dog food w/lamb. Commands/Misc: Fosters have taught him One Word Commands Sit Down ( for lay down) Off ( if he jumps up on people or furniture) we try to train him not to jump on people unless they invite him using the word UP. Leave it ( to leave things alone, drop something he's picked up) Place (if you want him to go somewhere specific and lay down) Heel Stay When we let him outside, we make him sit. When we open the door, he can't go outside until we say (go ahead)
