About Jake

HOWDY!!! Jake here - I'm a 7 year old merle cocker boy in need of a family to call my own. My foster mommy tells me I am one of the prettiest pups she's ever seen. I'm not sure I like being called pretty but I guess she means it in a good way so it's ok although I'd much prefer handsome to pretty. She also says that I am really good boy - and on that I agree with her 100%. I love to go for walks on a leash and I love to play with my foster siblings. I am a 'gentle and well-mannered soul' who loves attention and belly rubs. I am hearing impaired, but my foster mommy just says that's all good since I am quiet and sleep thru the night no matter how many times she gets up to go potty and I don't bark at ringing doorbells. Oh, one more thing about me- I am house trained as well as crate trained- I'm told that too is a definite plus.
