Small statured black cat. I first saw her eating food from my bowl on the porch and thought she looked pregnant. About a week later I was able to approach her and pick her up. She was missing more than half of her tail due to trauma or infection or both. Also I confirmed she was pregnant. I brought her into my shed and kept her safe and well fed. She delivered 5 kittens exactly a week later. I have an appointment to spay her on October 10th and I plan to get basic vaccinations and have her tail examined. It has healed but occasionally reopens as it was obviously an unnatural injury. She is so sweet and loves to be petted. She will push her face against you and she has been a wonderful mother to her kittens. One of them passed away a week after birth. 4 of them are now thriving and will be 5 weeks old on 8-21-17. They all need homes. I will be neutering and spaying them as well (2 males, 2 females)and doing basic vaccinations and worming. Mama has been wormed twice now. I have 5 cats and 3 dogs of my own so I am unable to keep them. Will post pictures soon.
