June came from the Victoria, Tx city animal shelter. She made it out right before the hurricane. She was emaciated, weak, itchy, covered in fleas and scared. She's so appreciative of being saved that she tries her best to do what you're wanting of her. She must have been kept outside all the time, because she'd rather sit by the back door waiting to come inside than venture around the yard. She rides well in the car, is sweet and calm, great with the other 2 dogs in the home, the cat, and human children. She is kennel trained and working on house training. She does seem to have a skin allergy and needs medication. She needs all of her front teeth pulled from chewing them down on possibly a chain. She may be around 5 years, give or take. She's a wonderful dog, just hangs around wherever you're at, and so grateful to be loved. As soon as she puts on more weight, she will get her dental, spay and microchip. She's up to date on vaccines and bloodwork and is heartworm negative, but must be kept on heartworm prevention monthly.
