Meet Darla! Darla is a 3 month old, female gray tabby with quite a purrsonality! She warms up to people within a day or so, loves affection, loves her belly rubbed, and loves to play ball. Little Darla was born a stray with her sister, Pixel on a nice couple's rural property. Sadly, the coyote's came one night and chased off the family into the woods. The kittens were missing for days. Two were found, they did not make it. Finally, little Darla showed up, crying in front of the house. She was so frightened that, after months of not allowing anyone to touch her, she let the lady pick her up and she brought her to our rescue. Within a few days, her sister, Pixel also showed up and was brought to safety. They were so happy to see each other that as soon as Pixel saw Darla, she calmed down. These two are very close to each other and we are hoping they are adopted together, though they do not need to be. Darla's ideal home would be a loving home with Pixel, with cat-friendly children over 6 years old. She must be an indoor only cat. Darla is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and combo tested negative. Darla's adoption fee is $65 with a mandatory $13 for microchip registration (one time fee for life). For more information on Darla, please contact Lynn at [email protected] or call 540-825-3744.
