Ruby (and 'sister' Krystal) were confiscated by a big city shelter in TX. We were never told why. But these girls are near perfect. Whatever their earlier 'issues' were, we see none of that. 'Little' sister Ruby, actually bigger than Krystal, is goofy, chubby, silly, very mellow, loves food, will high-five & hook her paw over your arm for attention. She can be a bit grabby taking treats but she is learning to be 'soft', adores having her belly rubbed, walks very nicely on a leash, and loves people. Her ears are slightly stiff and a bit shrunken from hematomas (shaking ears too hard causing blood pooling). Ruby is completely housebroken and also uses a dog door. Since Ruby and Krystal are VERY bonded, we would like them to be adopted together. The girls are not destructive, and are very good loose in the house, aside from wanting to sleep on the very top of your bed pillows! The poor things have no idea what toys are for, but they are happy girls, quiet, seldom bark except to greet you, submissive, excited for food and treats, and get along very well with the female foster dog. Both will sit and wait for their food dishes to be put down. It took Ruby weeks to learn that tho! These two sweethearts are going to be the perfect pair for someone's home. They are delightful. They have no experience, that we know of, being around small animals nor young children. A well-fenced yard is a must so that these darling friends, 'siblings', or buddies can run and play safely. The girls are in Frederic MI. For more information, contact Nancy at [email protected] Adoption $150 each, because Ruby must be adopted with Krystal.
