About Bella

Should Be Fine with Older Children and Cat Loving Dogs Bella is a beautiful black cat with a white heart chest marking and some white on her abdomen. Her brother, Spanky, is an orange marbled 'bulls eye' Classic Tabby. When the light hits Bella's coat just right, she appears to have the marbled pattern as well (just as a black leopard has spots). Sister and brother were abandoned as kittens at a Denny's Restaurant in the Houston area. Restaurant staff and customers fed them. When Animal Control was called, they threatened to euthanize the cats if someone got bitten during their capture. As a result, the restaurant staff did the best they could to care for them. Bella was caught during the day without the use of a trap. Spanky was caught the next day with a live trap. Bella is very affectionate, and is the alpha of the two. She loves attention, but wants to let you know it is her idea when she comes to sit in your lap (which is often). Bella and Spanky are very close and get along well. We hope to place them in their forever homes together. Although there is no adoption fee, you must get a reference from your veterinarian in order to adopt Bella.
