About Shadow

Shadow's human mama died and he was left with a daughter for the past month and a half. He was neglected most likely due to her poor health in her last months, as well as a daughter who didn't take good care of him. He had horrible teeth, so he went to the clinic yesterday and had to have a few teeth extracted as well as his remaining healthy teeth cleaned. It didn't look like he had ever had a dental. So his breath smells much better now. I doubt he had been groomed in a long time either as his nails were horrible as well. He is a little chunky and probably could do well to lose about 5 pounds. He loves to beg... as he is doing in this picture. We don't know his age, but the vet tech guessed him to be about 10 years old. He would be a great companion for an older woman or couple. He lives up to his name 'Shadow' and does not like to be left alone.... other wise he will sing.
