About Simone

Simone, affectionately referred to as Simz (aka: 'Flo'). What can I say about this dark and lovely beauty? She absolutely loves people, and is extremely eager to please her human. Her tail wags like a pendulum on steroids when her human enters a room or comes home at the end of the day. She is a huge puppy, perhaps never being allowed to be one when she was younger. She is four years old, and absolutely loves toys and squeakies. She will sit and chew on her nylabone for hours in extreme enjoyment. Often, if left in a room by herself with her toys, you will hear this big puppy throwing her toys around by herself and wrestling with the latest squeaky toy. She loves walks through the park, sniffing everything in sight. Other dogs on leashes don't seem to daunt her. She goes about her way with little concern. At some point during every walk, she will plop down and insist on rolling around in the grass like a child who just discovered sand at the beach. She always always ends her time with her human with a tail wag of gratitude and a kiss on the cheek (if you will let her, and I do!). If you allow her, she will sleep next to you and not move a muscle all night. You might find her on her back in the morning, her head plunged into your pillow. If you give her a treat, she takes it from your hand with the softness of a whisper, clearly aware of her power. What I love most about her is her appreciation. She truly appreciates the love she gets from her human. It is palpable and strong, and it is displayed in her attitudes towards loving rewards and gentle disciplinary guidance. She listens to your every word, and seems to appreciate the sound of her human's voice - regardless of what her human might be babbling about. She will make a lucky person the best friend they have ever had.
