This lovely sweet spayed female found herself suddenly homeless after her owner was placed in hospice care. Poor Xena had no safety net to keep her from being surrendered to an ope-admission shelter. This gentle and kind girl took a turn for the worse, became depressed and started a hunger strike. Luckily, a kind foster family took her in to save her. Xena is not your typical senior by any means! She is quite kittenish and must have been quite a character in her younger years. She's chirpy, purry and comes running to the door to greet her foster parents. She ADORES petting and just having the comfort of a person by her side. She is totally non-demanding and asks for very little. A window with a view of a backyard would be a colossal treat for Xena! She has always been a house cat and is impeccably neat and clean in her litterbox habits. Even though Xena is safe, she is not home where she deserves to be. She is lonely for permanent love. She is so enjoyable and loving and a cozy kitty. You'll be delighted and surprised how young-at-heart she is! Don't let her wait just because of the number of her years. You will be taking home a kitty who could have many happy, healthy years ahead. See more of Xena on Petfinder.com. She is waiting for your call. She will be microchipped upon adoption. Please open your heart and home to this precious one.
