About Luna

Update on Luna - she's one of our longest residents. She was given to us by her person, who couldn't care for her - but wasn't interested in having her back when we asked if Luna would be going back home with her. Because of the trauma she's had, Luna is really not interested in people. She would do well in a house with a friend and with older kids, but don't expect her to be overly affectionate. She needs someone who will give her space, and know that it will take her a long time to warm up to you. Someone who will be patient with her and understand that she is an independent girl. We think a foster to adopt situation would work best. Will you give her a chance? Luna was the mother of Caspy, Lilo, and Stitch, who have long been adopted. She's only about 1.5 years old.
