About Buddy

He is a senior weighing in at about 12lbs and we think he is some sort of Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix. The transformation this dog has shown over the almost year we have had him is unbelievable. While he likes his space he also loves to cuddle, he loves to go to the dog park and roam around, likes to go on short walks, and he prefers dogs that are about his size. He is current in our home with two 22lb terrier mixes, a 65lb pibble mix, and an 11lb cat. They coexist peacefully. He had no issues adjusting to having an infant brought into the home, though we don't recommend him going to a home with young children. He is housebroken, on a wet food only diet because he is missing a lot of teeth, and takes a fairly inexpensive medication daily to help with joint pain. He may be older, but we believe he has a lot of life left in him and will make a great companion to someone.
