About HERMES

Hermes is a very sweet and playful boy, he loves attention and smuggling. He doesn't bite and hardly ever barks though. If he feels like he is being ignored, he'll place himself where you can see him and turn his back on you, peeking over his shoulder to make sure you notice. He is house trained and is excellent about holding it. The only issues is when taking him out to potty, he needs to be walked near trees and bushes, he just won't go on grass if being walked, he also doles it out slowly, needing several bushes or trees to empty himself out. He seems good with other dogs and would probably love having someone to play with. He might be okay with cats, but he might want to play when they don't want to, and since he's so wound up from being in the truck all week, I keep him separated from mine. He will bark at cats. Though he is mostly Lab, he doesn't seem to like water much, doesn't like getting his baths either, though hell be okay once you start. He loved his squeeky pheasant plush toy and loves little mice made for cats, he tosses them in the air and tries to catch them. Loves being called 'Happy Puppy' and 'good boy'. He is great with a vacuum going in the room, is okay with thunder. When walking him, he probably would do well with a harness, hell pull against a leash and you have to be firm but gentle pulling him back, he cringes if he gets yanked, which he does when first getting outside if he's really excited. He seems good with kids too, sort of indifferent really, but not scared or agitated at all. He loves having his neck and chest rubbed too.... You must live in the Jacksonville area, have fenced in yard and a Vet reference. NO EXCEPTIONS...
