I have a 4 1/2 year old female lab mix - she was a a surrender from another family. We were 'babysitting' her for a friend who was trying to find her a home (our dog had died a couple months earlier ) She is a great dog - we have figured out her allergies (fowl and fish) and she is on a great diet of lamb and no more problems (had been an ear scratcher). She is fabulous with all people of any age. She is good with some most dogs. Thing is she is a bit bigger (50lbs) then we are used to and have decided to put her up for adoption while she is still young and has a chance to find a good home with a yard to run! She right now is able to go in and out of our house to a small fenced yard through a doggy door. She loves walks - but needs to be leashed as she will dart after a rabbit, etc and try to run to see other dogs. She is fully house trained and up to date on all shots. She would love a home to run, but be the only dog.
