This sweet senior gal that we've named 'Woofie' was seen being pushed out of a car at a trailer park in January 2017, and wandered around there for 4-5 days until Good Sam decided to take her in temporarily. She was very disoriented, very dirty, infested with fleas and had numerous small and large tumors on her head/face/ears and back areas. Since then during April 2017, she's had bloodwork done with great results, had dental cleaning, a full examination, surgery to have all the tumors removed and had a biopsy done on just the 2 concerning tumors that was on her back. I am SO happy to share that the biopsy results came back as being BENIGN... No Cancer for Woofie Girl!!!!! Although Woofie is now in a better place in her life, she unfortunately has to be kenneled for many hours each day for her own safety while Good Sam is at work as some of her dogs are not dog friendly. Woofie desperately needs a long term foster or new forever home ASAP so she can retire comfortably and live the life she's always deserved. Woofie is approx 12+ yrs old, Shepherd mix, spayed, 45 lbs, current on vacs, microchipped, not housetrained, very people/dog friendly, great on leash and in car rides. If you would like more information about this spunky senior or would like to meet her in person, please contact Deb Bobshosky at [email protected]. Thank you!
