About Mellie

MEET MELLIE!! Beautiful Mellie was found by a volunteer who was working trapping and fixing cats at a mobile home park with over 100 cats. But Mellie was miserable. She was bullied by other cats and rarely got a chance to eat. Mellie hid all the time and was very afraid. So after getting her fixed, the volunteer took Mellie home with her and found out that this little girl has a happy-go-lucky, super playful personality once she was safe indoors. Mellie likes people and is friendly, but is not a lap cat. She needs an adopter who will give her space and time to be herself. She is great indoors and would also enjoy living on a lanai. She is good in a multi-cat household as long as the other cats are not bullies. We have not seen her with dogs but we are sure that she would not like dogs who are in her face.
