About Muppet

Hi everyone! My name is Muppet and I am a cute little guy looking for my furever home! I am a bit shy when you first meet me but warm up quickly to strangers. I follow my foster mom around the house because I love being around people. I currently live with 2 medium sized foster dog siblings and I get along well with them but can also b e alone. I walk well on a leash and I love to be outside exploring the neighborhood. I am potty trained, I love to eat, and am not food aggressive. I am crated when my foster parents go to work but have also been left out for a few hours to roam the house without any problems. I sleep quietly throughout the night in my foster parents' bed and my favorite spot to sleep is at their feet. If you're looking for a happy, loving dog then I am the one for you! I love being around my people and would be happiest sitting on the couch and being petted all day- I'll even paw you to pet me! Please come meet me at the adoption center this weekend so you can see what a sweetheart I am! Muppet is a Male Poodle / Cairn Terrier Mix that we estimate to be born around June 1, 2015 and weighs about 20 pounds. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
