About Sammy

Sammy is a pure bred Lynx Point Ragdoll. He was born in May of 2006. Considering Ragdolls--also being indoor only gives cats longer lifespans--Sammy has lots of great years ahead of him and as playful as he can be, certainly doesn't 'act his age'. Sammy's owner was moving to another state and felt it better now to take him with her. He loves his foster dad, but a bit more tentative with his foster mom, but his owner describes him as very loving--including lots of kitty kisses. He does not want to be picked up until he gets to know you. He may not be a good fit for a home with young children. He loves to hide around corners and then playfully jump about when you come upon him. He had a doggy brother he loved to playfully chase. Sammy is in a foster home in Frisco, Texas. He had been groomed prior to coming into rescue, but with summer upon us, a short 'hair do' may be just the purrfect thing for him.
