Watch her video: https://youtu.be/8KqKeO_aXg8 Princess was born approx July 2016 and is a pocket pitty, small and short but is solid and weighs 40 lbs. She is a very sweet dog with a lot of energy. She needs a home with an active family. She loves people and is super playful. She loves to play fetch and will bring the ball right back to your feet. She gets along with dogs but she is dominant. Due to her dominant nature, no dogs in the home. Completion of an obedience class will be required, no exceptions. She loves life and has been through a lot for being so young. She and her brother arrived at the shelter with rat poisoning. They both survived, then both got parvo. She survived but unfortunately her brother did not. She was then adopted but was in a bad car accident with her prior owners. As a result, she had 3 severe fractures in her hind leg. Her owners dumped her on the street and a good samaritan found her limping and brought her back to the shelter. All of this happened before she was 6 months old! We rescued her from the shelter and she had her needed surgery. Even though the injury was old and had already healed, we were still able to repair the fractures. All has healed completely and she doesn't limp at all. Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet. Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3pm at R and R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends.
